Forever Young

Surrounded by stars and their timeless light
Surrounded by dreams through restless nights
Thoughts of old friends that come and go
So real in my mind as Morpheus sows
Images of light and shadows so dark
Forever entwining then splitting apart
I reach across time desperate to hold
Those parts of my life those pieces of gold
Memories of youth, family and friends
Now fading pictures as life journey wends
So I close my eyes and let Morpheus in
To open my mind, to make me Forever Young again.
