Forever Young
Checking my life's schedule....
Within the peaceful serenity
On a calm and quiet Saturday afternoon ~
Traveling through the fire while as the embers stir
Further and further I go; closing my eyes
Amid this journey through timeless time
Smiling as I bring into clarity the years of old....
Stopping along the way and gathering glimpses
So vivid these precious lives that, my heart does hold
Blood of my blood and Soul of my Soul ~
Tranquillity aside the flowing waters gentle
Upon this erelong shore I stroll....
Pausing, to gaze beyound the horizon's
Brushed in beautiful; their visions; loved ones
Whispering softly within this soothing breeze
Images of dreams....
Majestic moments in a breath that breathe's
What was and what shall someday be ~
Checking my schedule as I smile into, their endless eyes
All that I have known and all that I have loved
Traveling through this fire as the embers burn....
Blood of my blood and Soul of my Soul ~
Promises painting a tomorrow and then, again, “You & Me
