Forever Winter

Listen to poem:
Forever Winter David J Walker Where are you going and why I At 10 Had no answer I at 10 and at 10 in the am thought only of warming myself in the afternoons half-hearted winter sun I at 10 Had no one to fall back on Except for the crush of 10 inches of pure snow below Except for the plush of 10 inches of pure clouds above And the prospect of falling high or low Was of little matter to me at 10 and 10 again in the morning Where was I going and why I At 10 Had no way of knowing Only that the snow was blowing Falling And Winter may last forever

This is interesting. The loneliness, the despair. The feeling of no escape.
