Forever Torn Apart
Last night I had a vision
As i woke to find the truth
It began my nightmare
When I saw it wasn't you
My heart began to pound
Banging in my chest
It wasn't what I had hoped for
And kept going without rest
I thought you spoke ever softly
To my ears you said the words
Forever I will be there
And then I felt the hurt
With crushing blows you shattered bars
To the gates inside of me
You have left me and my heart to be
Forever torn apart
