Forever There
From this lonely window I stare
Waiting the unknown
Seeing not a thing that happens there
Just within my thoughts alone
A rose broken from its stem
Now waiting here in vain
Wishing to go back again
And there a rose remain
Knowing all the time I pine
Never a window is a door
That all these hopes of mine
Are hopes and that no more
Yet I am drawn forever there
Once more another time
For I shall forever care
