Forever Night

Shadows of you remain since the day you were gone
Black is my world and there is no dawn
I travel around to try to forget your face
My life is baron like deep space

When you were here you left your mark
But now that you’re absent I’m here in the dark
How can I go on without the suns light
Trapped in a world of a forever night

Your pictures still here in there black and white
My existence is a terrible sight+
It takes all my strength to get through the day
The only color I see is like my mood lifeless gray

When you were here you left your mark
But now that you’re absent I’m here in the dark
How can I go on without the suns light
Trapped in a world of a forever night

You were my better half now I’m cold
Your loss gets worse as I get old
I feel like I don’t have a soul
Everything around me is deep a black hole

When you were here you left your mark
But now that you’re absent I’m here in the dark
How can I go on without the suns light
Trapped in a world of a forever night

I try hard not to give up the fight
But the here and now is an endless twilight
The day to day task make me feel over run
I cannot grow past this for there is no sun
No one can take your place and your presence I will always miss
Maybe some time soon I’ll get out of this abyss

Kevin, your emotions are passsionate and so sad in this. It expresses loss in such a lonely way and makes the reader feel the pain. Such a great write. Hugs to you.
