Forever More

She saw a shooting star the night before,
she wished for someone to love, to hold, and adore her forever more,

little did she know that she was about to meet the guy who would make her wish come
true,
she found him at a local bar singing the broken heart blues,
their eyes met for the first time,
and right then she knew that this would be the beginning of something wonderful,
she was right,
after three years of dating,
she changed her last name and they said "I do"
he confessed that he had wished upon a shooting star,
the night before they met at he bar,
she asked him what he wished for,
he wished for someone he could love, hold, and adore for forever more,
tears of joy rolled down her face as she made the same confession,
they made each others wish come true,
the moment they said I do,

two lonely people wish upon a star the night before,
now they have that special someone to love, to hold and adore for forever more.
