Your gut feeling
Tells you it’s real
Yet he’ll tell you
It’s no big deal

They did not say
Having this friend
Would be okay.

So torn apart
This life you lead
Choose me or her
For which you need.

You turn your back
Been here before
I hate to see
You shut that door.

If it is her
