Forever in Your Eyes
I don’t know where, I don’t know when
I just know I’m not the same as then
Like a voice that reached through time and space
And left its light I can’t erase.
And if one day I finally see
The hands that carried nails for me,
I’ll know You not by name alone
But by the love my soul has known.
Not by sound or earthly view,
But by the grace that pulled me through,
The quiet truth I’ve always known
That I was never on my own.
And all at once, made clear and wise,
I’ll meet forever in Your eyes.
