Forever Gone

There is a growing problem of gangs in our society,
They roam the streets looking for prey
hoping to perform killings without dignity,

Members of our world that lack civility,

A life to them is worth nothing at all,
They lack the conscience to think.......
They could be killing an important
human of the universe,

Yet, their compassion is non-existent
and sparse,

Thy randomly kill innocent citizens while they sit
in cars, just to get a feeling of euphoria,
A high that makes them feel they can catch the stars,

Lives are forever gone because of initiaton rites
and serious drug plights,

Families experience frights and don't know how to mourn,
because their beloved kins are forever gone,
unable to be replaced......,
They remain plagued by haunting memories of lives taken,
without a plausible reason,

Dying with horror and questions on their frozen faces.
