Forever Gold

Like your spine that twinkles like blue
You intertwine my thoughts and I said I love you
You shine like forever gold
And as I walk the light darkens my hold

The rain wore off but I went on
The ink from my mask faded off
But the lies mark my face like lipstick
And now you tell me there's an easier way to forget this

So baby just blink those eye twice
My heart roles out to you like dice
I adore those eyes and that smile
They say I'm only loving for a while

Take your time and go steady
Don't be with me if you're not ready
Just remember that I'm loving you forever
So don't forget, my darling, don't forget
