Forever Dark

Time simply cannot heal
What it cannot feel
Memories locked deep in the mind
 Can be very hard to find
Time may make a deal
Some memories time will steal
Lost memories still fed the brain
It's the energy it will drain
Tears start falling
When the past comes calling
Hidden at times so deep
You won't even know why you weep
Thinking of times when loved are lost
Your heart pays the cost
Time does not mend
Just with the hope it will send
Gives you strength to go on your way
Or simply will help you stay
Time never  fixes yesterdays pain
Or the feelings  you gain
By standing tall
When you fall
Though time can steal 
What it is you feel
At some point in time  fades away
Can be a dangerous place to play
When searching for something lost or found
Memories can crush without a sound
Fighting back the tears
From thought hidden for years
Time can not heal
What it doesn't feel
But helps the pain be easier to bear
Time doesn't care
Just to be fair
But it always finds a way
Time will never stay
Memories are echoes of times gone by
Memories that make you cry
Memories fade as you die.
