Forever Beautiful Forever Gone

Forever Beautiful Forever Gone
David J Walker

If you want to be beautiful forever
Die young
The toll will be with those who
Grow old with grief

The soul will fold into each night
Beyond relief
The lines will trace the places
In the faces the thief has marked
Each beginning and returning
To the hole within the heart

If you want to be beautiful forever
Fly to the sun
Forever beautiful, forever gone
