Forever and a Day
FOREVER AND A DAY
Sometimes
we put blank spaces
between our togetherness;
unaware of the created loneli
ness we share.
In this self inflicted solitude,
we ponder ourselves---
Each asking:
Is it me?
Loneliness befriends everyone
whose sacred cement seems to crack
between wandering souls searching solace:
Our hope may sometimes end
in fruition; but the bond of our love
will sustain our togetherness forever---
And a day.
