Forever and a Day
The depth of love I have for you
Mere words simply cannot impart
They pale in all comparison
To the feeling that abides in my heart
Your smile brings me such joy
When you hurt I feel your pain
And your sadness causes me sorrow
These feelings so hard to explain
With you beside me forever more
Every beat my poor heart makes
Confirms the love I have for you
With each and every breath I take
There is nothing more I would ask for
Better simply cannot be found
Together we own the world
Our foundation completely sound
The love I have for you
Is so much more than I can say
But mark these words my love
Our love is forever and a day.
In the circle of my arms
You shall wake up with me each day
I will wrap you in my love
Complete and yours to stay.
I will hold you when you cry
And wipe your tears away
I will be there when you need me
All wrapped in love...forever and a day
