Forever Alone
What is there in the dark
That I have to fear?
Besides the blanket of shadows
That engulf me
I contemplate my situation
And there is no solution
But to perish.
The candle of hope
Is snuffed out by the kiss of death.
Blood drips to the barren earth
That is my prison.
Falling limply,
No one hears me screaming
As I kneel in the dark
Alone and fearful,
Frozen and waiting…
Lost souls surround me, crying
Save us from ourselves.
This is not what I have to fear
I am indifferent
For this is uncaring reality.
