Forever
Forever is not yesterday and today
And the news boys proclaim
“Read all about it!” “And read it and shout it!”
What are they shouting about?
About God’s Word and how to get it out
To proclaim it and sustain it
Many things will try and hinder
Satan, our hearts and the rescinders
Threats of death should not stop our breath
It will not come back void
God promised this in His woid
It will accomplish His will, and fulfill
Our part, be faithful, be all in
Be devoted, you know the jargon
God will hold up His end of the bargain
Study to show yourself approved
Rightly dividing the Word of Truth
Be clever, be like a serpent, be like a sleuth
So how long is forever?
It will go on and on and we will never
See the end, because there is no end
