Forever

Kiss me in the parking lot Give me love that's based on lies Do your best to convince me You're not like those other guys In the end you'll let me down All love inevitably dies You won't have to say you're sorry I'll see the sorry in your eyes I'd be a liar if I told you That endings never make me cry Of all the parting words I'll hear in this lifetime Your lips will speak the saddest goodbye But years later I'll remember you When I'm really old and wise And how I was convinced you loved me When you kissed me in July And I'll know I was right all along You were better than those other guys And even though we didn't last forever I saw forever in your eyes

Such a sweet but sad poem, I guess somethings are just not meant to be..
