Forever

not stalking
just watching
over you as you
sleep not shaking
or trying to awaken

for i'm hoping that i'm
there and not wanting
to end myself while
being with you so
i choose to be

where i'm at
on real soil not
that of a gargoyle
perched above you
sleeping while i silently

scream not wanting to awaken
you might perhaps might want
to since i'm not there or
here but somewhere
in between which

means i'm
on an Escher
staircase taking
me no where for if
i wake you then i take

myself out of your dream
or was it my dream that
i'm now in and just
beginning to be
gin again
