Forest Walk

Soft green leaves murmur to me
Lush grass beneath my bare feet
Sun on my shoulders

Tall trees,mighty boughs
Birds calling softly

Sun,filtering through trees
produce multitude hues of green

Soft dappled light
Cool of shade

Shadows of green
Welcome me
Leaves rustle
Nature's bustle

I feel so alive in this verdant place
Cool grass beneath my feet
Hand on tree
Soft wind in my face

Butterflies dart around me
iridescent blue wings
Time to sit by shady tree
And enjoy these wonderful things
