Foreshadowers
War, its foreshadowing
What blows up, raging
Before me now! Red-leaf toned.
And splattered about.
What, of death, the same way
Hangs o'er, in wake of
Lies, weeks away, for landscapes
Ruined! Winter's ghastly.
Stiff, corpse-like. Sad as scary
To walk throughout.
