Forbiden Love

run away with me my darling Gil
cross the oceans with me
and never look back
lets shame those
who forbid our love
and forever be mine
you are from the east and i am from the south
your skin is darker than mine
but our hearts races
the same way
my people name you names
they have an appetite for your blood
and i am thirst for your love
come away with me
my darling Gil
let my love replace all your pain
let us make passionate love
to nurse our tender
broken hearts
