Forbidden Love

So what if my mind goes blank from just a glance And just a thought about her makes my depression lift Maybe too cliché for me, if you catch my drift Even when its my heart that lifts I can't help that its her that I've fallen for I refuse to stop even when she makes life a blur I just can't stop how I commit this crime It's fine to most but to others, it's unacceptable No one ever thinks its something to which I'm susceptible Perfect religions hate to breed my kind They hate the very existence of my frame of mind It's not a crime; it's in my every thought My every action defined by my will to play for either team Can't you tell your hatred tears me apart at the seam?
