Forbidden Fruit

Red and juicy,
sensual shape,
sexual by nature,
they drip promiscuously
on my prurient lip!

Tastes of summer,
girls in flimsy cotton dresses
flirting shamelessly,
and sinfully suggesting
assignations in the park,
in the darkness, for a lark!

Their flavors captivate,
make me hunger
for an intimate embrace!

Oh, to be young again Keith when such thoughts were always on our hormone fuelled sub-conscious minds.

This was inspired by a line from Tennyson's 'Locksley Hall...' '...in the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.' (or 'Nancy' ~ the bowdlerized version!) Thanks so much for your delightful commentary! Best wishes, Keith

hmmm, which fruit is this? This is wonderful to read. Love those word choices. I can't even remember what prurient means but I sure like the sound of it.
