For Yours Truly

There’s no sense
In me loving you now
For the most of many days
I’m right here with you

I know you think I’m doing well
But I can barely breathe
Autumns tugging at your sleeves
And I don’t really want to leave

Between you and my last steps
There’s so much distance in your eyes
If this is truly who you are
I won’t disturb you anymore
My hearts felt the floor

There’s no need
In you loving me now
For the most of many days
You were right here with me

As my nights awaken I lie dimly
Sun rise and I toss and turn
Coffee mourns my name
Terribly sad, I cannot do the same

Just wanted to see how you were keeping
Open your curtains and peer into the day
Eyes wide, nothing ever appeared so clearly
I’m nearly gone
I am nearly gone
