For You With Love

Your old time photo caught my eye
Woman, cake, and sweet blond boy
I had to comment it was so cute
Your swift reply gave rise to joy

From that day forward we did chat
Our fingers deftly tapping
Infinite messages of discovery
To each our hearts unfurling

The chats were long yet short at once
Fashioning bonds between us
Speaking both of past and present
And sharing laughs most riotous

Days went by, the hours added
We felt ourselves grow closer
Furtherance led from chat to talk
Our feelings glowing warmer

The kind of (hu) man that you are
With integrity so resplendent
Naturally rouses my desire
My heart on yours dependant

Weeks soon blended into months
Words between us blooming true
Flowing through our heads and hearts
Compelling us each to say “I love you.”

Our passions kindled forever burn
Imagination sheathed in loving lace
Dreams of our lips tender touching
And melting in your kind embrace

Reality speaks a thousand words
We’ll soon know by heart for sure
Is this foundation cast so staunch
For our togetherness to endure?
