For You and Me

If I starting with myself,
           To be kind and compassionate.
           And set an example.
          We can change the world.
          To experience Love and Peace.

          Not worrying about things,
          That’s beyond our control.
          And to please, everybody.
          But to try to do our best,
         Knowing God will do the rest.

         Continuing, sharing our blessings.
         And be eternally grateful,
         To have family and friends.
                  You know,
         You are never alone.
        There is always someone.

        But also to learn to say, no.
        Setting healthy boundaries.
        And make myself a priority.
        It’s not helpful to compare, 
         Yourself with others.
        Life is not a competition.
        We are all winners.
        Completing the race,
        At our own pace.
