For You and For Me
This one is for you and for me
Just open your eyes, and then you will see
If we keep this going then we will live out our dreams
Come with me, this is how it is suppose to be
The pain comes at times, but then it dies
We share our laughs, and we fight our cries
Then another minute passes, someone starts with their lies
Now the yelling, then the screaming; now our hands get raised
It was only just a second ago that I was getting praised
It calms for a little, just a few days
Then it starts up again, now it just replays
But if we stand up together
Than we can make this all better
Because I cant bare for our cheeks to get any wetter
The beat of your heart plays my favorite song
I close my eyes and whisper, “I know that we belong”
