For You

Am I fighting for attention?
Do you even really care?
Where’s the smile I once saw,
When you’d touch my hair?

If you want to leave me and go,
Then my dear, I’ll set you free.
But please don’t lie to me,
And say you’re happy.

You were my living fairytale.
But the book is being closed.
This princess is forgotten.
She’s left all alone.

And I know that I don’t need you,
But I want to keep you’re love.
But what I want you’re
Undeserving of.
