For You

I wish I could grant those wishes for you
But some wishes are just meant not to be granted

This love for you is certainly real
I can only tell you how I feel
You said that you are not that big of a deal
But you were the one that unlock this heart of steel
I had waited long enough for it to heal
Now I'm like a hungry man that has no meal

These feelings were here all along
But for you I had to stay strong
Thinking to myself I was never in the wrong
I wish these feelings could have been drawn
But days fly by dust to dust and dawn to dawn
Just for you I kept holding on

I know I made a lot of mistake
But for you I'll do whatever it take
Please don't say I'm one of the fake
That's like saying I'm a broken rake
I don't no how your love turn to hate
So here I'm hoping things could be straight
Just grant my wish for one date
And like a genie answer with I'll be your soulmate

I told her I don't want anyone else cause there is no one like you
Her response was you have a lot of confidence rested in just one person
