For Whatever Reason
No one ever told me love would be so hard
Trusting in you has left my heart scarred
Looking into the eyes of the person you thought was true
finding out those pure eyes were lying to you
For whatever reason he chose to be unfaithful to me
The way I once saw him will never ever be
I still love him, forgiving him for his mistakes
it's my heart that he broke, and it's making me ache
How could he do this to me, I just don't understand
I thought I was his lady, and he was my man
