For Trudy

I've no clue why I'm writing this. But to sit here idle would seem remiss. I heard a story told today, Heartbreaking and beautiful in its own way. For myself a relatable tale, As on black seas I once did sail. Though limited, my experience taught To not succumb to blackened thought. And so now I implore you to talk, Should alone these paths you choose to walk. But whether or not you'd consider me a friend, Know if asked some light I'll lend.
