For Time Flies
Time flies by
Someday I will die
Knowing all I have done is try
We created life that will survive
Years shall go by
For it will be her turn to supply
A new name, a new time
Life will be created
Hopefully during my time
Imagining knowledge to share and teach
Those stars above
Will be yours to reach
Hoping to be present
For all your great feats
To wash your hair
To clean your feet
There will be no star you can’t reach
Hoping to love
Hoping to teach
For time flies by and someday I will die
To become an angel by your side
