For the Love

For the love I wish, hadn' t ever failed
For the oceans, that we never sailed
For the mornings, that we never shared
For the memories, of how you had cared
For the dreams, that we never made true
For the stars, that I wished on for you
For the nights, when we were alone
For the hours, we shared on the phone
For the feelings, I still have in my heart
For the loneliness, I feel now were apart
For the plans, that we never made real
For the love, that for you I still feel
For the nights, I still long for your touch
For the way, I still love you so much
For the mistakes, I'd throw out in a day
For the magic, in the words you would say
For the one I love, I long for you by my side
For the man I miss, without you my heart has died
