For the Boy

I'm aiming for your heart, and I want to know it's mine
You've learned how to live, and I'm falling far behind
I can't seem to save your words and I couldn't keep you here
I'm bleeding just to stop the flow of all these silver tears
We watched the world dissolving from the place that we had found
But our secret felt so empty when I knew you weren't around
All I wanted was to be the one, perfection in your eyes
I found shards of a broken heart in the corner where she cries
The rain, it whispers to me, it says it's heaven sent
I won't forget until I die, but I'm not dying to forget
