For Reasons Not Explained

This crazy time in someone's life
Where things are unknown and hectic
Lies many challenges to be solved
And a heart to be practiced unprotected

As memories lie, as stepping stones
For what to be alert for ahead
It shows one how they've come so far
With their actions, not merely by whats been said

Of course these struggles at the current time
Are among the hardest yet
One is so alone and without resources
And cannot afford to bet

The waiting game is a sure win card
With the passing storm above
But trust in faith and other things
And the same outcome will be that of love

With all their might, they try to find
The purpose of themselves
It just so happens it's not right there
Easily seen on the destinies shelf

Money low, morale lower
They attempt to carry on
They've lost their horse and friends they had
And the Atlantic is another con

For across that massive deadly sea
Is a lighthouse that shines like a star
It's a tempting heartwarming feeling
That is comforting from afar

It distracts and brings joy
To the one who's lost their way
But not to worry things are changing
Just be patient day after day

We cannot control these mishaps and blessings
For reasons not explained
Anywhere there is determination and hope
Their motivation will not perish in flames
