For My Fellow Poets
We meet here my friend
We pour out our hearts and soul
Reason for our poetry we defend
Each one striving for his goal.
From a different background
Different culture and creed
All pens making the same sound
Our artistic nature to feed.
Among us though, this common thread
Love for God and humanity
Saying what needs to be said
Showing respect and civility.
Let’s pat ourselves on the back
There is this site where we can write
Without hate and malicious attack
