For Love Was Not Enough

She died for love was not enough, her life was sad to think of. Her pride was that she had her him, but how he’d hurt her no words could tell. He was all to her that mattered, though her heart he’d broken, over and again, she mended it, at some point she couldn’t take it any longer. She died for love was not enough. He cheated and left her sobbing, yet she never lost faith in her beloved, even when he would abuse her. If only you could try a little bit harder, maybe things would get a little better, she’d say. She vowed to be his for richer or poorer, in sickness or health together forever. It’s sad, she died for love was not enough.
