For Life And Love

And though my bones begin to ache With every labored breath I take And energy that once implored Has now, it seems, been run and floored I still awake with fervent prayer That what I love will still be there So on this cool Thanksgiving day I still find that I want to say I’m grateful yet for life and love And counting every star above Such blessings counted short and tall Good fortune wished for one and all Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
