For I Am Like

I experienced days, I wish, never been,

driving me crazy, when each one, would occur.

However, I wouldn't be the person, that I was,

if I ran away, when a sudden event, began to stir.

For I am like, the mighty tree,

standing my ground, during the changing seasons, coming ahead.

Dwelling inside, are the historical rings, of years before,

showing the strength and wisdom, of the many lives, that I.'ve lead.
