For Eternity

A diamond is a precious thing,
Especially when it’s placed in a ring.
A ring that says I promise to love you,
A ring that says I promise to give my heart and soul to you.
It need not matter it’s size,
The only thing that matters is you realize.
It’s an admission two people pledge to each other,
A vow that no one can asunder.
This simple ring you give to me,
Is pledging you love our lifetime and beyond that for eternity.
