For Daddy

I miss you more than I can even say
And I cannot bare the pain that came my way

When you died, I was far too young
To have a bond with you

I can barely remember your face
Yet alone all the things you used to do

That doesn't mean I don't miss you
Or long for you in my life right now

To be able to have my dad
Would really help me out somehow

The time keeps renewing itself onto another year
But I never forget the time you were here

My only wish that I wish upon a star
Is that you could see me today

And you would tell me
That everything will turn out okay
