For Beau

Beau
                 For Beau
             My closest friend

A shadow cast over
A broken head stone,
Dropping to your knees
A cry is let out.

She was only a child
When her last breath was taken,
The fault to blame
Was this rough sea
Called Life.

This may be fine for your intended audience, Beau, but for me, I need more details. I think your poem has the potential to be powerful, but the way it ends now is so general that it doesn' t leave much of an impression on me. If it works for Beau, great. This is just my two cents.
