You used to live so differently, Had peace inside your heart. Now you think subconsciously, The girl you were is so far. You had so many things to call your own, Went anywhere your heart desired, Now you feel you're all alone, Those thoughts just get you tired. You sit and think of all you had, Feeling like you're just no good. This feeling is what makes you sad, If you could go back in time, you would. A bond like ours I've never had, Back then for me, you were too good. Sitting here now makes me feel glad, To know that I can help your moods. Since we came here, you've been my friend, Have been through so much time. The way we kick it now, will one day end, Becoming memories in our minds. An impact you have made on me, So strong I won't forget. When you go back to how it used to be, I hope these times you won't regret I don't regret all these moments we've had, You know I never left your side. I tried my best to keep you glad, While the others chose to hide. This poem is meant for you to keep. To read when you are down.
