For a Fact

I know that for a fact, it was never going to last
And no matter what we said or did, we could have gave our last dying breathe
It wouldn't have mattered in the end

I know that for a fact, it was never going to last
And no matter what we said or did, we could have gave our last dying breathe
It wouldn't have mattered in the end

We were two strong people who thought
We finally find a heart to build upon our fort
Shelter each other inside for strong willed souls to abide

Chorus:]
We were two strong people
We thought our hearts were bomb proof
We though this town was big enough
But what you wanted I hated
What I loved you would shoved
In the beginning it was always always going to fall apart
When a heart is crushed like egg shell
When it never stopped to kiss and tell
We tried but we got too tired
This ending was always so hard to keep on pretending

Girl - We tried to find moments to show
It just wasn't a cameo
That we really felt love
But our best wasn't good enough
From the beginning it was always going to fall apart

Pieces of our love blow in the wind
Into the despair of open water
Sink little pieces to the bottom
But for you I'll always leave my heart open

And in my sleep maybe I will find
The right touch to bring us back together
But I got insomnia so bad
It's gonna be a long before I stop feeling sad

Chorus

Girl - We tried to find moments to show
It just wasn't a cameo
That we really felt love
But our best wasn't good enough
From the beginning it was always going to fall apart

Girl- We tried to find moments to show
It just wasn't a cameo
That we really felt love
But our best wasn't good enough
From the beginning it was always going to fall apart

And yes we could have gone on trying
But it's just living until your dying
From the beginning it was always going to fall apart
At least in every part of the world settled your heart
