For a Certain Lady Friend
conversations like solutions to storms
reconnection like protection from swarms
though rare are your replies,
i cherish even the lowest lows of your highest highs
so amazing to be blessed with a unique bond of friendship such as yours
in life, it is where a man and a woman is Meant To Be
it will not always be sex and love that will make you be happy and free
sometimes it's the words and the occasional listening ear
that will ease the painful walk of your continuous forward movement and alleviate some, if not all fear
if i had a chance to meet you all over again that way that i did,
i would not change a thing even if inevitable changes flipped the world' s lid
all medicine is not bitter to the tongue
some medicine is soothing and sweet and inspire smiles that help overcome
with this, i say thank you, beautiful woman....precious friend
no matter how rare our connection, the eye of my loyalty is to the very end....
