Footsteps
Footsteps always echo with footsteps from the past
They keep us moving forward, make memories that last
All that came before us, that tread the same old road
Helped us stay the distance while lightening our load
And if you listen closely, their voices you will hear
With quiet words of wisdom, don't live your life in fear
Although there'll be days of pain, and nights that seem to long
The light of faith you have within will always keep you strong
Found out I have Lung cancer Jan. of this year...still fighting :)
