Footprints of Love
Tightly, I held your hand
You turned to me with a smile
We walked across the warm sand
With comfort lasting more than a mile
Your eyes sparkled in the sun
Your heart could be felt in the beams
Then, we started to laugh and run
Sometimes we’re childlike it seems
There’s not a bother under clear blue sky
Our love reaches our toes in the tide
We have never wondered why
We met as fast as going down a slide
Our souls will always connect with heat
A never ending kiss in our mind
With all the footprints left from our feet
There will be no other like this to find
