Footprints In the Snow
One can tell a lot about a person
just by their impression in the snow.
A large man, tall and strong
his step are broad and long.
The business woman in a hurry
quick steps, all a flurry.
A small child running like the breeze
steps lively and with ease.
An abused soul, meek and mild
with timid steps, errant and wild.
We all leave footprints whether in snow or on hearts.
How we tread is what tells us apart.
Looking back
I do ponder...
which is mine.
