Footprints in the Snow
Footprints in the snow. Where do they go?
The reflection of a path, only that you will know.
On a marshmallow blanket, so soft and so white.
As it falls from the sky in the still of the night.
The impressions we make on this canvas so pure.
Is the mark of a journey, we've had to endure.
As we walk on our path, we see footprints ahead.
The imprint of a journey that others have tread.
Footprints in the snow. Who knows where they lead?
A path that is forged, as we look to succeed.
As we choose our own path, with decision's we make.
An exploration of life in each path that we take.
The footprints of others, to show you the way.
To help on a path where others may stray.
The path lies before us, marked clear by our feet.
Is a journey that's taken to make life complete.
We have beaten this path, so others can follow.
With choices before us, as we look to tomorrow.
So let us leave traces for those yet to roam.
Our footprints in the snow will show them the way home.
